Responsibilities:
1.
Maintains
inventory of equipment in the Patrol Box and makes sure equipment is in good working condition.
2.
Keeps
Patrol Box clean.
After each campout, the Quartermaster is responsible for taking home the patrol box and washing, scrubbing, and degreasing all the equipment in the patrol box. (Even if it was washed at the campsite). Items can only get superficially clean by washing them at the campsite. All equipment needs to be deeply cleaned at home with hot water and various cleaning agents. Then you are responsible for returning the box within one week after the campout to the trailer.
3.
Responsible
for making sure Patrol Box is in the Troop trailer and ready to be used on each
campout. If you are not attending the
campout you must assign someone in your patrol to be the Patrol Quartermaster
for that campout.
4.
Ensures
Scouts are using patrol equipment properly.
5.
Makes
suggestions to Troop Quartermaster for new or replacement items.
6.
Sets
a good example.
7.
Enthusiastically
wears the Scout uniform correctly.
8.
Lives
by the Scout Oath and Law, and shows Scout Spirit.
9.
Develops
Troop & Patrol Spirit.
